Merge Dice is a simple yet exciting connect-3 style HTML5 game where you match and merge identical dice to form higher-value dice. Your goal is to keep merging until you create explosive Rubik’s-inspired dice that clear space in the game. Along the way, you can earn coins as you level up, but be careful—space is limited. If you don't like the dice you’re given, you can delete them at the cost of your coins. Keep merging and racing against time to create as many ruby gems as possible before you run out of room! Playable on both desktop and mobile devices, and compatible with Android and iOS.
Instructions:
How to play: Select the play button on the welcome screen to begin. Your game progress and high score are automatically saved.
Controls: On desktop, use your mouse to click on a die and drag it to the grid. On touchscreen devices, tap the screen with your finger and drag to move the die.
Gameplay: The game generates one or two dice at the bottom of the screen. Select a die to rotate it, or drag it to the grid to place it. Match three or more identical dice in adjacent cells to merge them into a larger die. Matches can be horizontal, vertical, or in any other shape, as long as the dice are side-by-side. Chain reactions are possible when merges happen. The goal is to merge dice until you form a Rubik’s cube-styled die with a value of 7. Merging three of these special dice clears all dice in a 3x3 radius. Continue placing and merging dice until you run out of space. The game ends when no valid moves are left. Use the delete dice button to remove unwanted dice at the cost of 50 coins. Each merge earns you points that fill your level meter. Leveling up grants bonus coins, which can be used to remove less optimal dice. Your level progress carries over between sessions, even after a game over.
